This is a reminder that your allocation is effective through December this year. If you need additional water, please contact the main office and fill out a Supplemental Water Request form.
Depending on the weather, we expect that the water supply will last at least through the middle of December, but the length of time that the water will be available will be determined by the demand of the growers within the District’s service area.
This winter, due to construction projects, the District will need to dewater certain areas of our canal system early. The canal systems affected are the Colony Branch 3, Colony Branch 4, Colony Branch 5, Shafter and Helm Canal. These canals will be dewatered on November 28th.
We currently anticipate putting water back in all of our canals in February 2022. Let our Water Department know if you have any special situations with crop needs this winter.
